Slade Stusek, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, at his home in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Born and raised in Oshkosh, Slade graduated from North High School in 1989. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, including deployment during the first Gulf War. After his military service, he pursued his passion for hairstyling at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis (1993-1994). Throughout his career, Slade was a dedicated entrepreneur, owning several businesses, most recently Slash Beauty and Barbering in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Slade is survived by his father, Charles; his step-parents, Mary Stusek and Terry and Eve Lynne Wojahn; and his brothers, Steve, Scott, and Shawn. He was predeceased by his mother, Catherine Wojahn.
