Age 70, passed away very peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at her home on Saturday evening, September 17, 2005, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 20, 1935 in Tustin, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Winter) Ultang. On June 18, 1956 she married Richard Perrine in East Bloomfield, Wisconsin and they shared 48 wonderful years before he preceded her in death on March 29, 2004. Shirley enjoyed playing cards and vacationing in Minocqua. She took great pride in caring for her home and her loving dog, Molly.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her children, Scott (Colleen) Perrine, Appleton, Sherri (Roger) Mielke, Greenville, Rick Perrine, Greenville; grandsons, Andy and Greg Perrine, Appleton; a brother, Jim (Mary) Ultang, Grand Chute; sisters, Betty Aldendorf, Scottsdale, AZ, Ginny (Dale) Simpson, Waupaca, Bonnie (Greg) Reischl, Appleton, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Avenue with Pastor Martin Koeller officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the Theda Care At Home Hospice Team, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Greg, our cousin Heather (Mom’s caregiver), Mom’s neighbor Norma, and our good friend Joyce.
