Age 74, passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, March 22, 2007. She was born in Embarrass, WI on March 5, 1933 the daughter of the late August and Isora (Oliver) Kowalkowski. In 1950 she married her husband, Fred Wolfgram. He preceded her in death. Shirley will be remembered for her love of planting flowers, especially carnations, roses and orchids.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Gary (Patti) Wolfgram of Appleton and Terry (Cheryl) Wolfgram of Appleton; grandchildren: Ric Wolfgram, Brett Wolfgram, Geri (Donny) Van Straten, Aaron Wolfgram, and Alicia (Zak) Zuelesdors; 6 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Karen Schultz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wolfgram, Jr.; son, Frederick Wolfgram III; her parents; and her brother, Lawrence Kowalkowski.

The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Star of Hope Chapel, Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond Ave., Appleton, with Rev. Martin Koeller officiating. Friends will be received at the chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will follow the service.

The family extends a special thank you to Shirley’s grandchildren, Ric and Brett, for helping Shirley over the years.

A memorial fund in Shirley’s name is being established.
