Age 62, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 27, 2005. Shirley was born in Appleton on July 29, 1942, daughter of the late Arthur and Augusta (Reffke) Stueber. On December 7, 1968, Shirley married Keith Paulson in Black River Falls, Wisconsin; he survives. For several years, she worked at Valley Screenprint, but her most recent work, a job she truly loved, was working for Milwaukee Messenger Service. Shirley enjoyed camping, trout fishing, family gatherings at holiday time, western movies, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Keith Paulson of Appleton; five children: Donna (Mike) Van Dyke of Hortonville; Randy (Laura) Lane of Black Creek; Lonny Lane of Appleton; Darrin Lane of Appleton; and Tracey (Gary) Kettlewell of Shiocton; eleven grandchildren: Sara (Ivan) Hernandez, Jacob Van Dyke, Carla Van Dyke, Amanda (Justin) Kabe, Andrea Lane, Anthony Lane and his special friend Ann, Levi Lane, Amber Lane, Darrin Lane, Jr., Emily Lane, and Jesse Kettlewell; three great-grandchildren: llexis Kabe, Katlyn O’Driscol, and Areana Hernandez; eight brothers and sisters: Kenneth (Theresa) Stueber of Appleton, Margaret (Bob) Hartzheim of Darboy, Hazel (Willie) Longworth of Wisconsin Rapids, Vivian ( Bernie) Hill of Appleton, Carol (Art) Joy of Appleton, Bill “Butch” (Jean) Stueber of Menasha, Ronald (Missy) Stueber of Appleton, and Leo (Veronica) Stueber of Little Chute. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Arthur “Buddy” (Irene) Stueber, Jr., and sisters Genevieve Schultz and Bev (Earl) McLaughlin.
Memorial services for Shirley will be held on Monday, August 1, 2005 at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the services.
The family would like to thank Theda Care At Home, especially Kathy Horn, who cared so well for Shirley during her illness. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
