Sheri Zoelk

Sheri L. “Bear” Zoelk, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born on June 8, 1966, to Lyle and Beverly Zoelk and resided in Menasha. Sheri always had the best sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She also was a very strong person, having survived a successful liver transplant for 8 years. Sheri loved her family dearly and called her parents every night, just to say goodnight. She was also know to end every call with, “love ya” to her friends and family. Sheri enjoyed playing Bingo, singing Karaoke, going fishing, watching NASCAR races, going to rummage sales, and playing with her cats. She deeply treasured the gambling trips she took with Frank, especially when they went to Las Vegas. Sheri will be truly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Lyle and Beverly Zoelk; boyfriend, Frank Dombroski; siblings, Kathryn Keller, Susan (Bruce) Anderson, Steven Zoelk; nieces, Chanda (Wayne) Millard and their children Keeli and McKenzie, Marissa Keller, and Sara (Devon) Anderson; aunts and uncles, Jackie (Dennis) Kotloski, Keith (Louise) Boese, and Nancy Boese; special friend, Travis Grotenhuis; other family members and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Gladys Boese and Louis and Pearl Zoelk; brother-in-law, Michael Keller; and uncle, Dennis Boese.

Private services will be held in Sheri's loving memory. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
