Sheila R. Hallada, age 82, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born on August 20, 1935, in Wausau, Wisconsin to the late Herman and Isabelle (Gustafson) Drehmel. She married Robert “Bob” Hallada on June 21, 1958.
Sheila’s passions were traveling, fishing, reading, playing Bridge and volunteering. She was one of a few women who braved the trout streams in northern Wisconsin. Her greatest joy however, was fishing with her grandkids at the cottage in Townsend.
She taught for many years in the Computer Lab at Fox Valley Technical College.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; her two daughters, Ann (Ray) Hill of Madison and Lisa (Dave) Stolp of Appleton; grandchildren, Joshua and Daniel Hill and Rebecca Stolp. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Donna Hallada of West Bend and several cousins including, Jan Urbanski who is like a sister to her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bill Hallada.
The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street in Appleton. Visitation will be held at church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service with Deacon C. F. Dedman officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to FVTC Foundation, Admin. Professional Scholarship Fund, 1825 N. Bluemound, Appleton, WI 54913.
