Sharon Anne Marie Moran, age 74, passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth’s Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.
Sharon was born in Chicago, IL on August 22, 1946, to Joseph and Patricia Kleich. On November 22 nd 1975, she wed Michael Moran, and they were blessed with 45 wonderful years together. Nothing was more important to Sharon than her family, and she worked in different fields to support them. Early on she was a security guard at a department store. Later in life Sharon used her love of sales when she became a vendor at indoor and outdoor markets. From there, Sharon found her calling and excelled as a successful realtor in Appleton. As time approached for retirement, Sharon combined her love of Faith and sales into a ministry and helped others find Christ through the Blessed Mother and the Saints by selling rosaries and religious items online to clients throughout the world.
Sharon had several activities that filled her life with joy. She loved going for rides on her Harley with Mike. They also enjoyed spending time at their cabin on the North Fork of the Flambeau River in Wisconsin. In Appleton, Sharon volunteered her time and beautiful voice to St. Pius X Catholic Church Choir. Sharon’s latest pastimes were spent managing her rental properties and her sales ministry on eBay. Yet no matter how busy her life became, Sharon always made time for her family.
Sharon is survived by husband Michael Moran and son James Moran (Mary); mother Patricia (Kleich) Sweeney; step mother Traudy Kleich; sister Karen Lieb (Don); step sister Vanessa Lawson (Jeff); step brother Pete Ferris (Jean); and sister-in-law Judy Kleich. Sharon’s family also includes several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Kleich, and her brother, Tom Kleich.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Sharon at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton, WI 54911 by Rev. Bill Swichtenberg. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9 AM to the time of mass. The mass may be viewed via Livestream by visiting this page on that day.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any financial help to help defray several months of hospitalizations and medical costs. Any amount would be appreciated. Checks may be written to Jim Moran, with a memo notation of “for Sharon”, and may be sent to 35 Bellevue Pl, Appleton, WI, 54913.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
