Sharon A. Ford, 72, passed away on March 1, 2023. She was born on March 23, 1950, in Appleton, the daughter of Harry and Martha (Peters) Malitz. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, reading and traveling. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts from Georgia State University in 1989 for marketing and management. Sharon was a member of the Business Professional Women’s Foundation and volunteered with the American Red Cross for many years. She was a longtime employee of Kimberly Clark Corporation and then West Business Services.
Sharon is survived by her sister: Sandy (Tom) Stoeger; a sister-in-law: Mary Ann Steinberg; nieces and nephew: Tracy (Tom) Plechaty, Ginny (Shane) Davis, Greg Steinberg, Shelly (Bill) Smith, and Joy (John) Jurkin; great nieces and nephews: Bryce, Emily, and Elizabeth Schimmers and Jacob Hornback; a great great nephew: Maverick Krause; a special friend, considered a son: Aleks (Rachelle) Kobilarov; other relatives and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother: Gordon Steinberg.
A memorial service will be held at Noon, on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Monday at the chapel from 11:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
Sharon’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Oak Park Place, Menasha for their care, kindness, and compassion.
