Sharon A. Tyson, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Sharon was born on March 23, 1944 to Clarence and Rosemary (Minneau) Rohde in Sharron, Pennsylvania. On May 1, 1965 she was united in marriage to Lance Corporal Francis Tyson III USMC in San Diego. Sharon enjoyed traveling and playing cards. In their retirement they traveled extensively throughout the country including trips to Alaska.
Sharon is survived by her husband Francis Tyson III, three children; Christine (CW5 David) Dreger, Lt Col Francis (Jennifer) Tyson IV, Cheryl Tyson, 11 grandchildren; SSgt Dylan, Seth, Mason, Olivia, Aidan, Lauren, Elizabeth Dreger, Isabella and Jonah Tyson, Cory and Joshua Tyson, her siblings; Larry (Ruth) Rohde, Carole (Dwayne) Turbitt, Paul Denny, Bruce (Terri) Denny, Claudia Denny Fellows, and Linda (John) Houtsinger, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Bonnie (Terry)Schold, Susan (Herbert) Heckel, Jim (Joanne) Tyson, Therese (Kurt) Nelson, and Marie (Mike Zahn) Rhode, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends,
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 12:00 PM at ST KATHARINE DREXEL, ST MARY CHURCH, 119 W. 7th St. with Fr Jerry Pastors officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
The family would like to thank the 7th floor at Appleton Medical Center, Dr Phillips and the staff of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, and Heartland Hospice. A memorial fund is being established.
