Scott W. Dutton

Scott William Dutton passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, September 29th, 2016.

Scott was employed at Appleton West High School for over 30 years. His passion for knowledge was contagious and he loved learning from his students. Scott loved to be in nature with his books or music and enjoyment for him was traveling to the rugged mountains where he was at peace. Over the last few years, Scott's travels included: Nepal, Alaska, Kenya, Scotland, Amsterdam, Wyoming, North Carolina, Colorado, and Canada. He was cherished by many for his authenticity, his spirituality, his generosity, and his willingness to be emotionally vulnerable by exposing his heart. Scott's life touched so many, he will be truly missed.

Survivors include: his wife -Terry; his children- Sarah, Emily, and Joshua; his extended children- Melissa, Joshua, Nicole, and April; sixteen loving grandchildren; his beloved dogs; and his dear friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 4:30 until 8:30 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
