Sandra Rose Conger

Conger, Sandra Rose (Sanders), 81 years, passed away November 2, 2018 at The Heritage Hospice Residence in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was born on December 24, 1936 to Edward and Josephine Sanders (Penzenstadler) in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She graduated from Oshkosh High School. Sandra was a Manager at Goodwill Industries.

Sandra was a kind and giving person. She was an avid shopper. She would often say, “This deal is so good, you can’t afford not to buy it”. Sandra loved to spend time with her grandchildren and Susie Kuhr, her best friend. They both loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

In 1957, she married Donald C. Conger. They remained friends after they divorced. Don and his current wife Nancy would spend time with Sandra. Sandra shared a home and most of her time with Susie Kuhr. They were best friends for over 20 years.

Sandra will be missed by her beloved son Jeff (Connie) Conger of Neenah, Wisconsin, grandchildren Tyler Conger of Neenah, Wisconsin, Jordan Conger of Roseville, Minnesota, and Hannah Conger of Cape May, New Jersey. Further survived by nephews Tom (Claire) Kuble and Mike (Genie) Kuble, nieces Geri (Jim) Messerschmidt and Ginny (Doug) Kuble-Ball, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, best friend Susie, and a sister Judy (Thomas) Kuble.

A Memorial Service for Sandra will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Wichmann-Fargo Tri-County Chapel 1592 Oneida St., Menasha. Private inurnment at Highland Memorial Park. Family and Friends may gather at the Wichmann-Fargo Tri-County Chapel from 9:00 AM until time of Service.

Memorials in Sandra’s name may be made to the Norbert Rich School Forest - Winneconne.
