Sandra L. Kavanaugh

Sandy Kavanaugh, age 71 of Kaukauna, passed away on Saturday morning, April 17, 2021, after a brief illness. Sandy was born in Kaukauna on January 12, 1950,daughter of the late Lester and Arbella (Young) Seggelink. Over the years, she was employed in a variety of retail positions, all of which she enjoyed. Most recently, she worked in the garden center at Home Depot. In addition to gardening, Sandy loved attending the events her grandkids were involved in and spoiling the family pets.

Sandy is survived by four children: Stacy (Terry) Wilson of Kaukauna, Tammy (Hooper) Fritsch of Freedom, Mike (Leanne) Kavanaugh of Kaukauna, and Bob (Tracy) Kavanaugh of Kaukauna. Her grandchildren are Corey (Gena) Fritsch, Shelby (Brandon) Guendel, Breanna Fritsch, Deanna Kavanaugh, Toby Kavanaugh, Evie Kavanaugh, Hailey Kavanaugh, Carley Kavanaugh, and Randi Kavanaugh. She has three great-grandchildren: Ezra and Avery Fritsch, and Juniper Guendel. There are several brothers and sisters, and half-brothers and half-sisters, as well as her special friend and companion, Donald Frederickson.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, a son Raymond, and several other relatives.

The funeral liturgy for Sandy will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, located at 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
