Jandrey, Ruth M.

Ruth M. Jandrey, age 86, of Appleton, died peacefully Sunday morning, April 1, 2007, at her residence with David by her side. She was born September 13, 1920, to the late Karl and Ella (Ohm) Hinz, in Hilbert and was a resident of Appleton most of her life. She married LeRoy C. Jandrey, on September 22, 1944, in Hilbert; he preceded her in death on April 22, 2002. Ruth had been employed by Zwicker Kitting Mill for 30 years, retiring in August 1981. Ruth enjoyed her rose garden, feeding and watching the birds, reading, cats and current events. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Ruth is survived by her special loving friends and care givers, David Packard and Troy Quast; her brother Robert (Lois) Hinz; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Ruth will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 East Glendale Avenue, with Reverend Daniel Thews officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm and at the church on Wednesday, from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial funds have been established for Faith Lutheran Music Ministry and WHBY Radio.
