Age 85, of Appleton, passed away at Peabody Nursing Home on August 2, 2004. Ruth was born to the late Richard and Esther Miller on December 25, 1918 in the Town of Dupont in Waupaca County. She enjoyed her family and entertaining; the outdoors, especially caring for her flowers.

Survivors include a daughter, Dixie (Gordon) Queen, Menasha; grandchildren: Kelli (John)Queen-Resendes, St. Petersburg, Florida, Beth (Scott) France, Winfield, West Virginia, Victoria (Tim) Marciniak, Appleton,
Erin (Christopher) Stapleton, Winchester; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Dolores (Carl) Krueger, Appleton.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd and a brother, Merlin Miller.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 1:30 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Snell officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM until the time of services. Interment will take place in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of Peabody Manor for their excellent and loving care of Ruth.
