Fischer, Ruth H.

Age 74, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008 at Good Shepherd Home, Seymour. She was born on August 18, 1933, daughter of the late Richard and Helen (Hoppe) Goree. She was married to the late Kenneth G. Fischer on June 12, 1954.

She is survived by her children: Pam (Jeffrey) Kern of Bozeman, Montana, Keith (Sandra) Fischer, of Appleton, Theresa (Pete) McCann, of Greenville; her grandchildren: Michelle (Aaron) Gullickson, Jeffrey (Lindsay) Kern, Krista (Mikel) Leiser, David Kern, Zackery (Fiance Sheri Sammons) Fischer, Levi Fischer, Joshua McCann, Jerib McCann, Jacob McCann, Jaani McCann; great-grandchildren: Ava and Emma Gullickson, Blaise Kern, Calvry and Nola Leiser, Dylan Sammons. She is further survived by her brother, Dick Goree, Appleton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street) with Rev. George Detweiler officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
