Ruth Elizabeth Gunderson (Ackerman)
Age 67, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in Manistique, Michigan on January 19, 1935 to Horace and Eleanor Ackerman. She later married Robert Gunderson on February 18, 1960 also in Manistique.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of 42 years: son, Steve (Karen) Gunderson, their children: Kelsey and Simon, Menasha: brothers: Jim (Doreen) Ackerman, Rochester Hills, Michigan; Jack (Vicky) Ackerman, West Allis; brother-in-laws Jack (Betty) Gunderson, Appleton; Burton Gunderson, Menasha; sister-in-law, Judy (Paul) Fluette, Menasha. Ruth is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be private family services held; no public visitation. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Appleton.
