Age 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Ruth was born on July 4, 1925, daughter of the late Ralph and Florence (Beisenstein) Walbrun. She was a 1943 graduate of Neenah High School. Ruth married George Herberg on October 11, 1952 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and spending time at the cottage in Lakewood. Ruth was also very active in N.A.M.I. In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her four sons; Mike (Jill) of Appleton, and their children, Amy and Marcus; Mark (Trish) of Jacksonville, Florida; Gary of Appleton, and Robert of Hortonville and his children, Justin and Peter. Ruth is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass for Ruth will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday April 14, 2008 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison St. at Wisconsin Avenue with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial is being established.

Ruth had a great love for God

Jesus is No.1 in my life,
When I'm happy I thank him.
When I'm in pain I ask him to help me.
When something is bothering me,
I stop and talk to him,
and forget my trouble temporarily.
When I receive him in communion
I feel like he is with me,
and I can talk to him.
I have faith in him,
He has always been there when
I need him.
