Russell “Russ” Marvin Sprotte, age 58, of Appleton, passed away on September 29, 2019, after an exhausting battle against idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Russell was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Marvin and Nancy (Westberg) Sprotte on March 12, 1961. He graduated from Appleton East High School. He worked as a truck driver for various trucking companies for many years and was retired. He was involved in motorcycle riding (wind therapy). He also loved to hunt and fish until he was no longer able.
Russell is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Sprotte.
Russell is survived by his children: Matthew (Katie) Sprotte and Christopher (Sarah) Sprotte; mother: Nancy Sprotte; brother: Rob (Tammy) Sprotte; nephew: Alex Sprotte; grandchildren: Spencer, Devaney, Miles Maliyah, Colton and Ezra Sprotte; special friend: Shari Zuleger, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial fund has been established.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Stone Toad, 1109 Oneida St., Menasha, Wisconsin 54952
