Ruby I. Wydeven

Age 84, passed away Monday, December 23, 2002 at the Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. Ruby was born in Kaukauna on December 10, 1918, daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Krull) Belling. On August 26, 1937, she married Paul Wydeven in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death in 1982. Ruby was a longtime Kimberly resident and member of Holy Name Catholic Church.

She is survived by three sons: Dennis (Suzanne) Wydeven of Kimberly; Donald Wydeven of Appleton; Charles (Leslie) Wydeven of Fond du Lac; two daughters: Nancy (Bill) Schmit of Phoenix, Arizona and Dorothea (Don) Yahr of White Lake; a daughter-in-law: Myrna Wydeven of Appleton; nine grandchildren: Jody Schmit, Mark (Carrie) Schmit, Scott (Anita) Schmit, Nicole (Michael) Hochholzer, Reg (Mary) Wydeven, Kelly (Jason) Thiel, Emily Wydeven, Max Wydeven, and Ben Wydeven; nine great-grandchildren: Melissa, Stephanie, Allison, Tyler, and Jessica Schmit; Katrina and Nathan Hochholzer; Morgan and Abbey Thiel. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul in 1982, brothers Carl, John, Alois, James, Roy, and LaVerne Belling, and sisters Lillian, Olive, Elaine, Joyce, and Helen.

The funeral liturgy for Ruby will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 27, 2002 at HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the hour of the liturgy.
