Rowyn Eugene Truckey

Rowyn Eugene Truckey, 14 months, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

Rowyn was born in Appleton on March 18, 2015 to Cara (Hankwitz) and Mark Truckey. Rowyn and his family were residents of Freedom, Wisconsin and members of Appleton Alliance Church. Rowyn was a very happy baby, he was always ready to eat and very rarely cried. He loved to play with his sister, Kyla, who is three years old, he loved to make breakfast with his dad every day, and loved stories read to him by his mom every night, he was her little man.

Rowyn is survived by his parents, Mark and Cara; his big sister Kyla; his maternal grandparents Sherry (Onie) Walker and Eugene Hankwitz, his paternal grandparents Peggy Truckey and Arnold (Sue) Truckey; his great grandparents Jackie Knar, and Shirley (Jerry) Herbst; Aunts Candice (Wes) Ray, Jill (Pierre) Rivera, and Uncle Cory Hankwitz. He is also survived by his cousins Tyrone, Erica, and Elijah, and his pal, Rocky.

Rowyn is preceded in death by his great grandparents Jack Knar, Lila and Dean Strong, Randy Truckey, and Aunt Cayla Hankwitz.

The funeral service for Rowyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at APPLETON ALLIANCE CHURCH, 2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd. with Pastor Dennis Episcopo officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St. Menasha, and on Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service.
