Rosella Denigan

Rose Denigan, age 89, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Kindred Hearts in Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of
over 50 years, John; parents Lily and Clyde Heagle, and aunts Rose (John) Rieth and Ella Hoening. Rose is survived by close cousins, Mary Robertson and
Lorraine (Roger) Johnson, and is mourned by dear friends: Jeanne Weyers, Kristen Babe, Paul Van Berkel, Craig Lahm, Coleen Kobs and many others.

Rose was born in Seymour on September 20, 1918, daughter of the late Clyde and Lily (Hoening) Heagle. She was a 1938 graduate of Seymour High School, and later that year she married John Denigan. The couple enjoyed 54 years together before John died in January of 1991. Rose worked as a legal secretary for the McFadden & O'Connor Law Firm in Kaukauna for over 30 years and also worked for Paul Van Berkel for three
years before her retirement. She was a longtime and faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish (St. Aloysius) and volunteered as a Befriender Coordinator, as well as being a dedicated member of the Kaukauna Library Board for 25 years.

Rose was loved by everyone who knew her. Her life was a shining example of living as a true Christian. She was caring and compassionate, and always there, helping someone in need.

The funeral liturgy for Rose will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish (St. Al's Site), 2401 Main Avenue, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be at
Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
