Rose Rosch

Rose Rosch passed away on December 13, 2016 at Island Shores in Neenah, WI. She was born to Peter and Mary (Stegman) Burghardt on January 20, 1925 in Chicago, IL. At a young age her family moved to Menasha, where she lived most of her life. In her younger days she worked as a telephone operator. She met the love of her life Frank Rosch who she was married to for 42 yrs., he preceded her in death on November 23, 1991. Together they had two sons and three daughters. Rosie was involved in numerous activities throughout her life, PTO President, Girl Scout Leader, hospital auxiliary, where she volunteered in the hospital gift shop with her sister, Irene. In her later years she moved to Island Shores, where she was very involved in many activities.

She is survived by her children; John (Cindy), Frank (Paula), Jane (Brett) McCormick, Judy (Richard) Rothe, Sue (Jeff) Waldman. She is further survived by grandchildren; John (Allison) Rosch, Shane , Andrew Rosch, Jesse Miller, Llora Waldman, James Waldman, Sarah Rothe and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, parents and her seven siblings.

Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 900 Geiger ST., Neenah with Fr. Larry Siedl presiding. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m.

Family would like to say thank you to Dr. Raj and her nurse Laura for all the wonderful care they gave our mom and also to the Hospice, especially nurses Mary and Judy, and the entire Island Shores Staff for their loving care.
