Rose (Doyen) Perry, age 70, of Appleton, passed away at her home on February 15, 2022. She was born in Green Bay on July 17, 1951, daughter of the late James and Phyllis (Maes) Doyen. She graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School and attended Northwest Technical College to become an LPN. Rose also served in the United States Navy for 2 years.
Rose was a member of St. Bernard’s Parish. She was also a proud mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. In addition to more than 20 years at The Community Blood Center, she also enjoyed working in respite care. She was very fond of cooking and had recently pursued a degree in culinary arts at Fox Valley Technical College. She loved being outside and going on walks and riding her bike.
Rose is survived by her daughters: Becky (Mark) Gottsacker and Elizabeth Perry; grandson Johnny Remy; siblings: Robert (Cathy) Doyen, Mary Lasee, Janet Ridgeway, Pete Doyen, Jen (Brian) Reno and Jody (Sohil) Kothari; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her former spouse Thomas Perry; parents, James and Phyllis; a brother, Paul Doyen, and a sister, Diane Patrick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. with Deacon Maury Reed at Wichmann Fargo Funeral Homes at 537 N Superior St, Appleton WI 54911. Please consider leaving an online condolence for Rose’s family.
