Age 60, passed away and found comfort on Tuesday October 21, 2008 at his home in Menasha. Ron was born on October 28, 1947 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, son of Milton R. and Bernice (Hinkes) Warber. He was a 1967 graduate of Beaver Dam High School, and a 1969 graduate of Madison Area Technical College. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1972. Ron was an offset pressman for J.J. Keller in Neenah and was also employed at Bridgewood Golf Course and the Ground Round Restaurant in Neenah. Ron loved playing cards with “the boys” at Bridgewood. His interests included following the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, along with being active in golfing and bowling. Ron is survived by his parents, Milton and Bernice, Beaver Dam; his long time companion, Rana Kahles; his children, Julie (Paul) Schramm, and Steven (Amy) Warber. The Funeral Mass for Ron will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday October 24, 2008 at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH, 324 NICOLET BLVD., MENASHA, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services.

To honor Ron's love of animals, memorials are suggested for the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Heartland Hospice especially, Tracy and Elma and to all the wonderful people and close friends of Ron's at Bridgewood Golf Course, Hotel and Conference Center. A very special thank you to Rana for being by Ron's side every hour of every day. You were the rock that held it all together. We love you.
