Ronald M. "Ron" Rutten

Ronald M. “Ron” Rutten died unexpectedly on February 9, 2022.  Ron was born on January 21, 1954, in Nymegen, Netherlands.  Ron was the youngest child of Theodor and Hendrika Rutten.  The Rutten family arrived in Menasha, WI in May of 1955 where Ron attended Menasha High School, graduating in 1972.

On July 25, 1975, Ron married the love of his life Christi Stumpf. Ron started working as a machinist at Stowe-Woodward until his retirement after 40 years of service.

Throughout his life, Ron enjoyed the “muscle cars,” and especially enjoyed his 1983 Lincoln and 1994 Corvette. Ron enjoyed spending time with his furry children Maggie and Molly and was especially proud of his son Ben.

Ron is survived by his wife Christi and son Ben.  He is further survived by siblings: Gerrie Stoehr, John (Barbara) Rutten, and Tilly Stier.  He is further survived by his father-in-law Patrick Stumpf and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Theodor and Hendrika, brothers-in-law: Joseph Stier and Herbert Stoehr and mother-in-law Phyllis Stumpf.

A private memorial service will be held for Ron. A public visitation will take place Thursday February 17,  from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
