Mr. Ronald J. Wettstein, age 71 passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, March 6, 2008, at Brewster Village. Ron was born on January 4, 1937 in Brothertown to the late Norman and Ethel (Mathers) Wettstein. He served his country in the National Guard. Ron was also employed with Badger Northland in Kaukauna for many years. He enoyed doing many handyman projects with his friends for many years.

Ron is survived by his children: Jacci, and Peggy; his granddaughter, Sandra Freund; sisters, Betty Jacobs of Appleton, Sandra (Richard) Daun of Chilton; brothers: Raymond Wettstein (special friend, Beverly) of Neenah and Randy (Karen) Wettstein of Neenah. Ron was preceded in death by his infant son, Todd Wettstein; brothers: Roland, Robert and Richard Wettstein and sister, Donna Combs.

The funeral liturgy for Ronald will be held on Monday, March 10, 2008, at 11:00 am, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Marty Fox officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church, on Monday, from 10:00 am until the time of mass. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Brewster Village who knew Ron and took care of him. Also, special thanks to all his friends who took him out on his special outings.
