Barry “Butch” Yonts

Age 60, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2001, at the Outagamie County Health Center. Butch was born on May 19, 1941 in Appleton, son of the late Roscoe and Goldie (Barry) Yonts. He was employed by Valley Packaging Industries of Appleton, until his retirement due to health problems. Butch enjoyed outings with his brothers and Center employees, watching movies and television, listening to music, participating in the Special Olympics, and going out to eat. He is survived by his brothers, Charles (Cheryl); Pete (Pam); his nephews, Tony, Scott, and Shaun; his nieces, Laura and Amy; a great-nephew, Clint; and a great-niece, Annamarie. Butch is further survived by numerous cousins and an aunt in Memphis, Tennessee, Ann Hackleman. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 2, 2001, at the Outagamie County Health Center. Memorials may be directed to the Outagamie County Health Center. The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to all of the staff at the Health Center, and all of the staff at Valley Packaging (Brewster Street), for the great care and support given to Butch during his 27 years in Appleton.
