Kane, Sr., Roger G.

Roger G. Kane, Sr., age 59, of Sherwood, died suddenly at his home in Tomahawk, Thursday morning, May 31, 2007. He was born October 10, 1947, to Raymond and Delores (Mura) Kane, in Green Bay, where he graduated from West High School. Roger had been a long time employee of Georgia Pacific. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and many friends. Roger also loved spending time at his home in Tomahawk. He was a member of First Congregational U. C. C. He is survived by his wife, Fay A. (Zahn) Kane; three sons, Roger (Julie) Kane, Green Bay; Robert (Sandy) Kane, Oconto; Andrew Johnson, Sherwood; a grandson, Bryce Kane; his mother, Delores Kane, Green Bay; a brother, Raymond (Nancy) Kane, Green Bay; a sister, Laurie (Rowdy) Hunt, Green Bay; a brother-in-law, Bruce (Mary) Zahn, Racine. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Kane. Funeral services for Roger will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 4, 2007, at First Congregational U. C. C., 724 East South River Street, with the Reverend Jane Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 am, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Fresenius Medical Care (Appleton Dialysis Center).

A special thanks to the staff of Fresenius Medical Care, for their many years of loving care and to Beth Goffard, for being there when she was needed.
