Robin Mykel, 65, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2022. He was born in Neenah on February 6, 1957, to Richard and Beverly Mykel. Robin was a self-employed handyman with a heart, performing labors of love for those around him.
Robin was a collector of many things of sentimental value. To him, everything had a purpose. He also enjoyed working on old cars, spending quality time with his family, and taking trips up North.
Robin is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beverly Mykel; brother, Richard Mykel; uncle, Clinton Vaughan, and other aunts and uncles.
He is survived by the love of his life, Darla Larsen; daughters, Amber (Jeff) Tharp and Angela Henry; brothers, Jeff Mykel and Terry (Kaye) Mykel; sister-in-law, Terrilynn Mykel; grandchildren, Mykayla and Leland Tharp, and Charlee Larsen; a special aunt, Dianne Vaughan; and many nieces, nephews, and other loved family and friends.
A service for Robin will be held on Saturday, September 24, at 12:00 PM, at the Laemmrich Funeral Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St, Menasha. A visitation will be held prior, starting at 10:00 AM.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Neenah PD and Fire and Rescue for their comfort measures. They would also like to thank Robin’s beloved neighbor, Tricia.
