Robin Lee Hawley, age 52, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield. Robin was born in Green Bay on November 29, 1958, daughter of the late Robert Retzlaff and Katherine (Criel) Retzlaff Rose who survives. Following high school, Robin attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, majoring in Childhood Development and Early Childhood. For many years, she had provided daycare services in her home, and later worked at Winnebago Mental Health Institute.
Robin married David Monfort and had her first son, Eric (Erin) Monfort. Robin then had a long and loving relationship with David Wilson, and they were blessed with two sons, Travis (Abby) Wilson and Tyler Wilson. Robin later married David Hawley and became stepmother to Nicholas Hawley, Gregory Hawley, and Kristin Tomaschefski. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Owen, Addisyn, Layla, and Taylor; her mother: Katherine Rose; as well as two sisters: Renee (Tom) Mitchell and Debbie (Dan) Knaack; and a brother: Robert (Heidi) Retzlaff, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Robin will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the funeral home chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street in Menasha. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service.
She will be missed by all who knew her. We love you, Robin. Rest in peace.
