Robert Williams Rammer

November 23, 1939 — November 1, 2001

Age 62, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, November 1, 2001. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on January 23, 1939. He was the son of the late Edward and Marie Williams Rammer. He graduated from Appleton West High School. He married Sharon Verkuilen at St. Therese Catholic Church on June 17, 1961. He was employed at I. Bachall for 19 years and most recently employed at Forward/Ferguson Enterprises. He was a devoted, generous husband and father, who always selflessly put his family first. His two grandchildren were a source of great happiness for him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sharon Rammer, Appleton; his son and daughter-in-law, Doug (Camille) Rammer and their children, Maxwell and Adeline, Janesville; his daughter and son-in-law, Beth (Holger) Raeder, Dallas, Texas; sisters, Charlotte Faas, Appleton, Yvonne (Vern) Verkuilen, Bloomer; Marlene (Roger) Magoon, Appleton; sister-in-law Mary Ellen Gurney, Arlington, Texas; mother-in-law Gertrude Verkuilen, Appleton; sister-in-law Martha Pasholk, Neenah; brothers-in-law Donald J. Verkuilen, Mackville; Marvin (Maureen) Verkuilen, Rockaway New Jersey; Vern (Yvonne) Verkuilen, Bloomer; Thomas (Dianne) Verkuilen, Manitowish Waters and former sister-in-law Judith Trowbridge, Newton. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, their spouses and children.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, a brother Edward W. Rammer, father-in-law Jacob Verkuilen, sister-in-law Agnes Verkuilen and brothers –in-law Bernard Pasholk, Kenneth Parman and Robert Faas.

Robert will be missed by his family and friends.

The funeral liturgy will be on Monday, November 5, 2001 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH 1617 West Pine Street, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John P. Bergstadt officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, November 4, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. On Monday friends will be received directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass (11:00 a.m.). Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
