Bob “Tank” Winkers, age 42, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at a Milwaukee Hospital, following a motorcycle accident earlier in the week. Tank was born in Neenah on April 28, 1977, son of Rich and Corinne (Swenson) Winkers. Bob earned an Associate Degree in Machine Tool and Design. On May 5, 2007, he married Nicole Dickenson in Menasha, and were blessed with three sons.
In addition to his wife Nicole, Bob is survived by sons: Tristan, Devilan, and Huddsan; his parents: Rich and Corinne Winkers of Menasha; a brother: Don (Jamye) Winkers of Menasha; a brother-in-law: Cory (Amanda) Dickenson of Two Rivers; a sister-in-law: Nina (Xeng) Vang of Ashwaubenon; his nieces and nephews: Faith, Nolen, Kaydince, Nolan, Beckham, Bodie, Ayden, Lylah, Reyah, and Phoenyx; his paternal grandparents: Donald and Marilyn Winkers of Montfort; Nicole’s mother: Trudy LeClair of Two Rivers; her maternal grandmother: Carol LeClair of Two Rivers; and her paternal grandmother: Ann Mae Dickenson of Two Rivers.
Tank was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert and Dorothy Swenson; and Nicole’s grandfathers: Paul LeClair and Gordon Dickenson.
Tank had three big things in life, and devoted himself to each of them: his family and friends, his Harley, and his blacksmithing hobby.
All of Tank’s family and friends are invited to a special gathering to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 15, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, located at 1592 Oneida Street in Fox Crossing. At 2:00 PM, all are welcome to join in Tank’s final ride to “The Office”, located at W2091 Highway JJ in Kaukauna.
