Age 80, passed away early Thursday morning May 4, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Robert was born July 4, 1925 in Lohrville, Wisconsin to the late Henry and Bernice (Gunderson) Edwards. Robert was an U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII. He married Marcella Eskofski on July 6, 1946 and she survives him. Robert worked as a purchasing agent at Neenah Foundry for many years. He was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Robert (Carol) Edwards, Michael (Marge) Edwards, both of Menasha; Richard (Tammy) Edwards, Shawano; Marianne (William) Kelly, Batavia, Illinois; Jody (Paul) Bergner, Menasha; grandchildren; Robert, Chris, David, Wendy, Tammy, John, Zachria, Elisabeth, Lisa, Bill, Matt, Nicole, Anthony, Peter, and Sam; 7 great grandchildren; brothers; William (June) Edwards, Hancock, Wisconsin and Alden (Nancy) Edwards, Appleton, many special friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 6, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 516 DePere St., Menasha with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services. A memorial is being established.
