Age 68, died at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center on Saturday, January 11, 2003. Robert was born on November 17, 1934, in Neenah, to the late Reginald and Lucille (Romnek) Johnson. Robert was associated with the Salvation Army for over 25 years, serving the last five years in Romulus, Michigan. Survivors include his daughters, Linda (David) Young, Neenah; Cindy (David) Maltbey, Bonduel; his son, Duane (Cindy) Johnson, Menasha; his grandchildren, Jason (Denise), Josh, Jessica (special friend, Kevin), Amie and Michael; his sister, Louise; his brothers Reggie and Bill; his former wife, Reene Stockman, Menasha; many nieces and nephews; and his special friends, the Wilkins family. He was preceded in death by his sister Viola and his brother Leo. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Major Larry Cowper of the Salvation Army officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established in his name.
