Bob was the son of William H. Johnson and Anna M. Johnson (née Hunziker). His older sister Joyce Halbach passed in December of 2023. He is survived by his sister Harriet (Glenn) and his brother Jim (Jeanne).
He spent his career working at Wisconsin Tissue Mills, where he was the maintenance supervisor. He retired in 1997 and went on to drive commercial delivery trucks for Straight Shot Express.
Outside of work, Bob liked deer hunting, metal detecting and raced go carts with his son Jason Johnson as driver.
He was first married to Linda Peckham, with whom he had three children: Dean, Laurel and Chris. Later, he married Susan Zilisch, with whom he had and raised two sons Jason and Scott. Bob was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to two great grandchildren.
A private service will be announced in the future for close family and friends to celebrate Bob’s life and the many wonderful moments they shared with him.
