Robert Fred Heinritz, Age 86 of Eagle River, and Zephyrhills, Fl., passed away November 9, 2002 in Florida. Robert was born on October 14, 1916 to Chester and Sophie (Zimmerman) Heinritz, in Appleton. After marrying Doris (Johnson) in Appleton, they continued to live in Appleton where he was owner of Heinritz Sheet Metal Company until his retirement in 1979. He also had served as Outagamie County Sheriff and under sheriff for eight years. Robert loved to spend time in Eagle River where he and family hunted, fished, and spent their retirement years, along with winters in Zephyrhills, FL. He was a member of the Elks Club and lifetime member of First English Lutheran Church. His amazing gift of being able to fix anything will be remembered by his family and those he helped.

Survivors include a son John (Irene) Heinritz of Grand Haven, MI, daughter, Teri Heinritz, Eagle River; grandsons: Christopher (Katie) Pittsburgh, and Bradley, Grand Haven, MI.; brother, Raymond (Jean) Heinritz, Gresham, sisters-in-law: Florence Heinritz, Appleton and Mary Ann Heinritz of Appleton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; a baby daughter Mary, son Geoffrey; sisters: Shirley and Gladys; brothers: Walter, Donald, Chet Jr., Earl, Jay.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Christian Quello officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2002 from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service Saturday. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
