Age 64, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 30, 2001. Bob was born in Menominee, Michigan on November 18, 1936, son of the late Frank and Dorothea (Sager) Cihak. On December 2, 1961, Bob married the former Charmion Corrin in England; she survives. Bob was a graduate of Lawrence University and for over twenty years worked as a medical technologist at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He also served as the director of the medical technologist school there. Bob was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was stationed in England. Many will remember Bob as an avid archaeologist and photographer.
He is survived by his wife: Charmion Cihak of Kimberly; a son: Robert J. (Deborah) Cihak of Neenah; a daughter: Laura (James) Ebben of Waukesha; and by five grandchildren: Jordan and Amanda Cihak and Nathan, Hannah, and Thomas Ebben.
Private family services will be held with Rev. Thomas A. Part of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
