Robert D. Reinhardt, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Island Shores Assisted Living, Neenah. He was born on September 13, 1931, in Neenah, the son of Robert and Theresa (Rouse) Reinhardt. Bob was united in marriage to Jeanine Woulf on December 26, 1955, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. He was employed with Kimberly Clark for 42 years. Robert was very active with St. Patrick Catholic Parish, Menasha, and also enjoyed volunteering with St. Vincent De Paul, Knights of Columbus, Pillars, and the Kiwanis Club. He was an active member of the Hawley-Dieckhoff American Legion Post #33, Neenah and an honorably discharged combat veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Navy. Robert loved to travel, golf, run, and watch the Brewers, Badgers, and Packers. He will be remembered most for his honesty, integrity, and love of family.
Robert is survived by his wife: Jeanine; 5 children: Kathy (Mike) Murphy, Sue (Rob) Strauss, Patti (Mike Doland) Swift, Mike (Liz) Reinhardt, Dan (Mary) Reinhardt; 14 grandchildren: Sarah (Mike), Matt (Andrea), Nicole (Corey), Jon, Steph, Michael, Andy (Mandi), Maggie, Jaclyn, Katy (James), Nick, Mitch, Daniel, and Joey; 5 great grandchildren: Hayden, Branson, Paxton, Claire, and Katlyn; 2 siblings: Patricia (Fred) Relien and Jerome Reinhardt; a sister-in-law: Carol Reinhardt; and many other relatives and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers: Roger (Irene) and Wayne Reinhardt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha, with Pastoral Leader Mary Krueger and Fr. Jim Hablewitz, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Vincent De Paul, Pillars, or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
