Robert "Bob" A. Seifert

Robert A. Seifert “Bob the Bartender” and “Old Hippie”, age 79, of Porterfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. He was born on September 1, 1936 in Glenn Burne, Maryland to August and Josephine Kozmicki Seifert.
Bob met the love of his life, JoAnn Schlieve on November 14, 1977. They were married on September 10, 1988. Together they were blessed with their son, Rob.
He was an accountant for Grace Chemical Company in Curtis Bay, Maryland for twenty years. He also owned and operated a tavern in East New Market, Maryland from 1977-1982. Bob then moved to Wisconsin in 1983 and bartended at too many bars to think of. He currently owns The Legends Bar in Porterfield. Bob loved spending time at his trailer in Dagget, Michigan along with hunting and bear watching. He was a story teller extraordinaire and could always tell a good joke. Bob was a passionate Norte Dame fan till the end as well as a loyal fan to the Baltimore Orioles.
Bob leaves behind his soulmate and wife of thirty-eight years, JoAnn; his son, Rob (Smokey); a grandson and joy of his life, Camden; his mother, Josephine; a sister, Joan (Eddie); a brother, Buzz (Dorothy) ; five brothers-in-law, Bob (Julie), Gary (Mary Jo), Dennis (Kay), David (Barb) and Charlie (Sara); three sisters-in-law, Toby, Karen and Jennifer (Carlos). He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, August and brother-in-law, Bruce.
A memorial service for Bob will be held on Saturday, October, 17, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street. A time of visitation will be held Saturday at 4:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
