Age 73, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2007 at her residence surrounded by loved ones in Kimberly. Rita was born on April 7, 1934 in the Town of Center to the late Howard and Emily (Bohl) Parker. Rita was also preceded by her brothers; Dean Parker of Alexandria, VA, Tim Parker of New London, Ted Parker of Menasha, Leon Parker of Stevensville, Larry Parker of Plainfield and Glen Parker of Milwaukee. Rita was a graduate of Hortonville High School. She worked for many years in production at Rich’s Bakery in Appleton.

Rita will be sadly missed by her daughter, Bethann Haug and Scott of Appleton, brother; Don (Margaret) Parker of Hortonville, grandchildren; Nicole (James) Nelson of Appleton, Michael Wallace of Appleton, Mark Burton of Appleton, Brock Burton of Maud, TX, Brittany Burton and Carlnell of Appleton, Brandon Burton and Hannah of Appleton, great grandchildren; Taylor Elizabeth Nelson, Tyler Cole Burton, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and especially great grandchild Connor Odonn Nelson who meant so very much to her.

Funeral Services for Rita will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 7:00 pm at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street) with Pastor Vicki Simon officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 25, 2007.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at ThedaCare at Home Hospice for all their care for Rita.
