Richard T. Smits

Age 60, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2003. Rich was born in Appleton on July 28, 1943, son of the late Theodore and Loyola Smits. He attended high school and graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton. In December of 1984, he married the former Judy Cotter; she survives. In addition to Judy, Rich is survived by his son Todd, and his brother James Smits. A memorial service for Rich will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Jim Lucas of Holy Cross Church officiating. Rich will be buried with his parents at Holy Cross Cemetery.
