Age 72, died Monday afternoon, March 29, 2004, following an extended illness. He was born April 7, 1931, to the late Orville and Evelyn (Meyer) Perrine, in Appleton, where he was a resident all of his life. Dick served with the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had been employed by Appleton Wire Works for 40 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, Shirley M. (Ultang) Perrine, to whom he had been married for 48 years; three children, Scott and Colleen Perrine, Appleton; Sherri and Roger Mielke, Greenville; Rick Perrine, Greenville; two grandsons, Andrew and Gregory Perrine; a sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Bob Gartzke, Menasha; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Angie Perrine, Greenville. Funeral service for Richard will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 1, 2004, at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2220 East College Avenue, with Reverend Martin Koeller officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church from 10:00 am, Thursday until the time of the service.
