Richard Lee "Rich" Weix

Richard Lee Weix, 62, of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday May 13th, 2020. Richard was born on October 4th, 1957 in Manitowoc, WI to Donald Weix and Betty Hitsman (Schisel). He spent much of his childhood in the care of his grandfather George “Bubba” Schisel.

Rich loved all things racing and enjoyed collecting die cast cars. He also loved working on cars and shooting the breeze with friends at the local repair shop.

He is survived by his 3 children, Amy Weix (special friend Doug Grambow), Joshua (Jessica) Weix, Madeline Weix, and 3 grandchildren Abigail, Riley, and Jackson. He is further survived by his former partner Bonnie Havel (mother of Amy and Joshua) and former wife Diane Weix (mother of Madeline).

He was preceeded in death by his father Donald Weix, mother Betty Hitsman (Schisel) and beloved grandfather George “Bubba” Schisel.

Due to the current circumstances, a private family service will be held.
