Richard R. (Dick) Hoffmann, 89, of Butte Des Morts, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Dick was born on April 17, 1933. Dick grew up on their farm near Stevensville, WI. It was there that he developed his strong faith and learned the value of hard work. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He loved to tell stories of his time spent in the Navy on the USS Hammerberg DE-1015 and all the places he saw. Dick enjoyed many years at CloverLeaf lake with his family and friends. Dick spent many years putting together an amazing John Deere collection which he took great pride in displaying.
Dick is survived by his son Gary (partner Barbara Milz), former daughter in law Cindy Hoffmann, grandchildren Tyler (Jenny), Kelsey (Max), great grandchildren Quinn, Harper, Norah, Harrison, and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by his first wife Kathleen (Kitty) Hoffmann, and his second wife Dori Hoffmann.
There will be a celebration of life for Dick on Saturday, December 3rd at Bare Bones Brewery, 4362 Cty Rd S Oshkosh, WI from 1:00-3:00 with military honors at 3:15.
