Wolter, Richard C.
“Dick”
Appleton
Richard C. Wolter has died. He is lovingly survived by Sally, his wife of 60 years, his children Rich and Beth, their spouses Patti and Dave, grandchildren Mark, Jill, Joe and Michelle, all of whom he saw as his gifts from God. He has now joined grandchildren Eric, Adam and Patrick in heaven. He is survived by his “twin” brother, Jerry, and his wife, Alice.
He said his friends knew he loved them all and were aware of what he had done so there was no need to list his accomplishments. A memorial service to celebrate the fact that Dick has gone home to be with the Lord will be held on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Avenue, Appleton. There will be visitation at the church starting at 9:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. There will also be a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2008, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jack Anderson, Dr. Michael Maguire and his associates at Fox Valley Pulmonary Medicine, Susie from ThedaCare at Home, and the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their kindness.
In lieu of flowers, Dick requested donations be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911 and the Community Fund of the Fox Valley Inc, 4455 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton, WI 54914.
