Remi Lou Luedtke

Baby Remi Lou Luedtke left this earthly plane before she could fully enter into her life on January 27, 2025. She was the inspired hope of Andrew and Chelsea (Seymour) Luedtke and was the first to hold their hopes and dreams. 

Chelsea and Andy chose the name Remi because they knew in their hearts it would match her spunky self. Her middle name, Lou, was chosen in honor of her grandmothers and great grandma. Her parents decorated her nursery in vintage colors with just the right amount of beige for mom. Perhaps she was an old soul with more wisdom than any of us have. She was due to enter this world on February 5, 2025. She was everything to her parents and they looked forward to her life and adventures. Even “Big sister” Kota the chocolate lab was excited to have a “sibling” and was attentive to mom Chelsea throughout her pregnancy.

Her parents were looking forward to outdoor adventures with their new addition. Camping, fishing, hiking and outdoor fun were to be on the list. There were seven cousins awaiting her arrival-all who live in the area…there was sure to be some troublemaking afoot. She was sure to be spoiled by her aunts and uncles as well as the aunts and uncles that were chosen by her parents.

Sweet Remi is survived by her parents Andy and Chelsea Luedtke; grandparents: Dennis and Sarah Seymour and Todd and Lois Luedtke; aunts and uncles: Ben and Dana Klein, Nate and Melissa Luedtke, and Brandon and Emily Luedtke and cousins: Rudy, Logan, Aubree, Lainey, Charlee, Bridger, and Foster as well as Kota the lab.

There will be a memorial gathering on Tuesday February 11, 2025, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm with a memorial service to follow at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior Street, Appleton.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
