Age 89, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Ray was born on August 6, 1912 in Kaukauna, son of the late Reinhardt and Bertha (Hermans) Le Noble. He married Helen Peters who preceded him in death in 1987. For nearly thirty years, Ray was employed as a pipe fitter at Thilmany Pulp and Paper, and was also a member of the Quarter-Century Club there. He served his country as a proud member of the United States Army, and was a member of the Electric City Post #3319 of the VFW. Ray enjoyed playing cards, gambling “just a little”, and visiting with his family and many friends.
He is survived by three sisters: Minnie Rollo of Little Chute, Frances (George) Vissers of Little chute, and Henrietta Fleming of Little Chute; three sisters-in-law: Marge Le Noble of Clintonville, Imogene Le Noble of Clintonville, and Helen Le Noble of Post Lake; as well as by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen in 1987, brothers Charles (Isabelle) Le Noble, Norbert Le Noble, Joseph Le Noble, Jake Le Noble, and Bill Le Noble.
The funeral liturgy for Ray will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 8 PM and again at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the hour of the liturgy.
