Age 59, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, August 17, 2008. He was born on November 30, 1948 the son of the late Randolph and Corol (Wolff) Zuhlke. On his birthday, November 30, 1979, he married his wife of 29 years, Suzette Wetzel. Ray loved the Marines and was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp during Viet Nam. He loved the Marines. Ray will be remembered for the many pizzas he delivered for Frank's Pizza. He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and wrestling.

Ray is survived by his wife, Suzette; children: Anthony (Sandy) Thorne of Grands Pass, OR, Michael (Cindy) Thorne of Dale, Todd (Julie) Jorstad of Greenville, Terry (Brenda) Jorstad of Neenah and Rick Jorstad of Menasha; grandchildren: Trixie, Lee, Adam, Tabytha, Jeremy, Joshua, Brandon, Micheal, Katelyn, and Casey; and a sister-in-law, Carol Zuhlke. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Zuhlke.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, Menasha, with Rev. George Detweiler officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Ray's name is being established.
