Age 68, died on Friday June 20, 2008, after a short illness. Ray was born on July 4, 1939 on the farm in rural Menasha, son of the late Joseph and LaVerne (Schmidt) Bangart. Ray retired in 2001 and loved spending time at his home up north in Pembine. He is survived by 5 brothers: Ron, Appleton; Chris (Nora), Hortonville; Joe (Pat), Menasha; Allen (Beverly), Kaukauna; Tony (Sandy), Appleton; a sister Doreen Rogina (special friend Albert), Little Chute, and many nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Christopher, and niece Michelle.
The funeral service for Ray will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 24, 2008 at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. The visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
