Ralph Owen Tellock

Ralph Owen Tellock, 89, of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024.

Ralph was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on April 7, 1935, to Edward and Maria (Maack) Tellock.

On October 20, 1956, he married the love of his life, Barbara Dutter at St. Timothy Church in Menasha and together they raised 3 beautiful children.

He served in the Wisconsin National Guard for 6 years and also in the U.S. Army Reserves for 2 years in Company H of the 127th Infantry 32nd Division as a SPEC 4.

Ralph worked for Andrew Marske as a plaster tender for 9 years and 22 years as a plasterer for Cottrell Plastering. He started driving a limousine when he retired from plastering at age 61. He drove a limousine for more than 20 years.

Ralph thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He was passionately involved with the Boy Scouts for many years and received many distinguished awards, including the Silver Beaver Award. 

Ralph is survived by his children: Debra (Greg) Bastian of Hilbert, Cindy Seidel-Wittwer of Menasha and Glen (Sue) Tellock of Manitowoc; grandchildren: Stephanie (Kevin) Steinbrecher, Benjamin (Amber) Bastian, Brian (Lily, fiancé) Seidel, Alicia (Bo) Conner, Lauren (Max) Gehrman and Makenzie (Jake) Risse; many great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara, mother and father in law Erwin and Viola Dutter brother Marvin, sisters Dolores and Gladys, and a number of brothers and sisters-in-law; 2 great grandchildren Dakota and Kiarra Seidel, Layton and River Conner, and special friends of the family Gene and Lois Gerrits. 

The family would like to thank Edenbrook of Appleton and Unity Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. 

The memorial service for Ralph will be held at Christus Lutheran Church (N1915 Julius Drive, Greenville, WI) on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 11:00. Friends may call from 9:00 am until the time of service.
